EDGAR COUNTY FAIR
Queen Pageant

The 2024 Edgar County Fair Queen Pageant will be held Sunday, July 21, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in the amphitheater. The reigning Queen is Miss Kelsie Dosch of Paris.

The Little Miss Edgar County Fair Queen Pageant, featuring 20 five and six year old girls, will be held in conjunction with the selection of the 2024 Miss Edgar County Fair Queen Pageant. Ella Hays of Paris is the reigning Little Miss Queen.

The 2024 Miss Edgar County Fair Queen will serve as the official hostess of all the fair activities, assisted by the 2024 Little Miss Edgar County Fair Queen. In addition, the 2024 Miss Edgar County Fair Queen will represent Edgar County in the 2025 Miss Illinois County Fair Pageant held during the annual IAAF convention in Springfield next January.

Each Queen is awarded a variety of prizes and gifts donated by local businesses and industries. In addition, the 2024 Miss Edgar County Fair Queen will receive a diamond crown ring presented by Current and Former Pageant Directors upon the completion of her reign.

HARNESS RACING

The Kentucky Derby is often called the most exciting 2 minutes in sports, but did you know the Edgar County Harness races can bring the same thrill, in person? You can feel the excitement deep in your chest as the horses round the turn and head for the finish line! Bring your family and friends, pick out your favorite horses and cheer them on!

We are not sure who has more fun at this event, the children who are participating or the audience watching the antics of both children and animals! Good clean, oops we mean muddy, fun is had by all who attend this annual must-see event.

JUNK YARD AUTOCROSS

This event defies description, part moto-cross, part car race, all pure fun! The Junk Yard Auto Cross has grown to epic proportions! Friendly rivalries have formed, and drivers have developed cult followings. You really must witness this spectacle of fun to appreciate!

The Big Air ATV Show offers one thrill after another. Big Air is an understatement with this professional show! The drivers will have you breathless and sitting on the edge of your seat-with their amazing aerial acrobatics ATV-style!
